How our priorities are set
Our CCG sets our priorities based on the health and care needs of our population. We strive to shape a high quality and effective system for the people of Bradford district and Craven.
We serve a population of nearly 600,000 people. In the decisions we make, we consider the key health and wellbeing challenges for our population as well as considering social, economic and environmental factors as they either have a direct impact on health status or can contribute to existing ill health.
We work together with organisations across Bradford district and Craven, such as the council and local hospital trusts, and our commissioning intentions reflect the health and care system as a whole. Our shared vision is that people will be supported to be happy, healthy at home.
We are currently developing our commissioning intentions and our new commissioning strategy. These will be published here once available.
West Yorkshire and Harrogate priorities
We also collaborate with colleagues across Calderdale, Harrogate, Leeds, Kirklees and Wakefield on shared priorities as part of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership. More information about our shared priorities and the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care partnership can be found on their website.
